From accounts to audit and tax
An auditor tests the figures in your financial statements, and those statements are built from the daily records. If the records are late or incomplete, the audit takes longer and the tax return waits.
That is why our accounting work ends with books that reconcile and a trial balance your auditor can start from, and figures ready for the return on Dhareeba.

Questions about accounting and financial reporting in Qatar
Short answers to what companies ask us most. Open a question to read the answer.
Can we outsource bookkeeping instead of hiring an accountant?
Yes. Many small and growing companies in Qatar outsource their bookkeeping. We record transactions, reconcile the bank and suppliers and close each month, so you get reliable figures without a full-time hire. You keep access to the system and the records at all times.
Do we need to prepare our accounts under IFRS?
Many companies in Qatar prepare their financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards, and auditors and lenders usually expect them. Which framework applies depends on your company type and who reads the accounts, so we confirm it before any conversion work starts.
How often should the books be reconciled?
At least monthly. A monthly bank and supplier reconciliation and close catches errors early, gives you up-to-date figures and saves a lot of work at year end, when the auditor and the tax return need the final numbers. Customer accounts and petty cash are worth checking on the same monthly cycle.
Which accounting system should we use?
It depends on the size of the business, the number of transactions, whether you need inventory or projects, and your budget. We compare a few suitable options, set up the chart of accounts and reports, move your old data and train your team.
Can you help if our books are behind?
Yes. We start with a catch-up: entering missing transactions, reconciling the bank and suppliers and correcting balances, then move to a regular monthly close. We agree the catch-up period and a fixed fee in writing before we start, and tell you early if a missing document will hold up the audit or the tax return.
